“We just can’t thank you enough for being so on top of things and finding us the town home we wanted so quickly. If you hadn’t have been so quick, we would not have had the opportunity to make it ‘OUR’ home. As you know, there were others that wanted it right behind us. So being the organized and efficient person you are got us our home. And your smile and enthusiasm and being available was above and beyond our expectation of a realtor working for us. “My husband and I moved from Newberg to Upstate NY in August of 2018. At the time of our relocation we opted to rent out our home, after settling in after our move we decided that we no longer wanted a rental across the country. We hired The Chlumaks because they are our former neighbors – living less than 10 houses away. There is no one that better understands the market in Newberg – specifically vintage homes in Newberg – which is what we were selling. Emily and Martin coordinated with our rental company, 4 renters as well as us. The Chlumaks set up two open houses and kept us up to date. Lindsay was extremely organized and a great communicator. She kept notes on our house feedback and continually tailored and updated her lists to home in on our dream place. She would also give clear and regular updates on the status of items, next steps, owners and ETAs.

Lindsay has a valuable network of contacts including inspectors, loan brokers, repair companies, handymen and contractors which enabled us to quickly progress through a number of paths in parallel to hit our target closing date. When we started to get into uncharted areas Lindsay would do the research on the best companies to engage with and handle all of the interactions and coordination. This was especially helpful as we were out of state for most of the process.

Lindsay worked directly on site with the various inspectors that were involved, understood all of the items and recommendations in their reports and was able to walk us through the various pieces so we could understand and prioritize issues. She then drove the remediation of the top items before our closing.

Finally, Lindsay was an effective negotiator who enabled us to trim down the final purchase price on a home which had already had a number of price reductions.
